How-To: Simple Motor

This is a simple step-by-step guide on how to make a simple motor at home.

Materials:

• Toothpick
• 18" of motor wrap wire, around 22 AWG
• AA battery
• Masking Tape
• Flat piece of wood or cardboard

I bet this would spin well and you don't have the problems with the brushes touching the commutator that we had in the lab!
